Sedona JazzFest features the Paolo Jazz Duo at Red's Lounge

Chamber Music Sedona launches a new twist for jazz aficionados, Sedona JazzFest, March 20 - 23.  The JazzFest will include a Jazz Crawl that features Sedona jazz musicians.

Red's is "Jazzed" to present a new act, Paolo Jazz Duo.  Paolo will sing his favorites for you accompanied by jazz pianist Steve Sandner, another Sedona favorite musician.  Come early and stay late...and sit up close for this one!

Paolo opens the 2014 Living Room Concert Series in Sedona

Paolo opens the 2014 Living Room Concert Series in a solo concert on Wednesday, January 8th at the Center for Positive Living, located at 45 Castle Rock Road, Suite 1A in the Village of Oak Creek. Concerts are from 7:00pm to 8:15pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.

$10.00 admission at the door (cash only) - Seating is limited to 40.

Paolo got his start in music from the very young age of 5 years living in Youngstown Ohio. His Mom and Dad loved the arts and entertainment. So as the first born…like it or not…he got music lessons, then painting and dance lessons...and finally residential architecture. It must have been a good fit because he now sings and swings in Sedona, and designs houses during the day!

Paolo brings the vintage songs of the past back to life with a fresh vocal twist. He is inspired by the genius songwriters of the 20th Century, like Cole Porter, Ira Gershwin, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, and by vocal artists like Frank Sinatra, Billy Holiday, Jonny Mathis, and Bobby Vinton. Paolo creates his own musical style from his rich background in dance and architecture…filled with rhythm, texture, color and line! His favorite song is the one he is singing each moment. His favorite thing is a good giggle.

There's no place like home for the holidays...especially Sedona!  I know this sounds like a song BUT... friends ARE gathering near, there will be snow and mistletoe and presents under the tree.  And there is bound to be some yuletide by the fireside, and grateful memories there.  Oh, I forgot to mention one little thing, a ring, I don't mean on the phone, Santa Baby.  So hurry down the chimney...but before you do that, check out Paolo's holiday schedule.  He would love to sing you some good cheer.

Paolo Sing Gershwin

The songs of Ira Gershwin are a perfect fit for Paolo, a jazz vocalist performing regularly in Sedona, AZ.  Gershwin melodies and lyrics are timeless, and relevant for modern vocalists.  Take a  song like "A Foggy Day In London Town" for example to see that the "age of miracles"  may have passed but love lingers for ever.  Or how about "S'Wonerful", with the age old reverence to romance?  Of course "Summertime" rolls around every year and baby's still cry.

Sedona Mayor's Arts Awards features Sedona musician Paolo

This year, the annual Sedona Mayor's Arts Awards will take place at the new Mary D. Fisher Theater on SR 89A.  The ceremony will utilize the state-of-the art move theater to highlight this years Award Recipients and the past acheivements of the Sedona Arts & Culture Commission achievements.  Special vocal jazz artist Paolo will add to the multi-media experience.  Contact the City of Sedona for ticket reservations.
